Hi! I'm Lauren, the face behind Your Business Bestie.
Originally from the USA, I moved to Australia when I was ten years old. I grew up in the Sutherland Shire and then spent seven years enjoying the beachy vibes of the Central Coast. I am currently based in Wollongong with my husband and cheeky, sassy four year old. In my free time I enjoy going on long drives, sharing food with friends and family and curling up with a cup of tea and a good book.
I have 20 years' experience providing administrative support to a wide range of industries including Building & Construction, Tertiary Education, Insurance and Recruitment. During this time I have discovered that what fulfils me is helping others, supporting them, working together towards achieving goals.
This includes connecting clients with their customers, whether this be in person, over the phone or online. I pride myself on being able to turn negative experiences around, explain things in a simple, understandable way and provide information and assistance with genuine care and empathy.
Applying these strengths to Recruitment allowed me to help clients and candidates find their perfect fit for one another; I love being a part of the excitement and fulfilment of matching talent to their dream role.
